The team collaborates closely with building designers, consultants, owners, facility engineers, HSE officers, and IAQ partners to deliver practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Solutions Sales Engineer role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work from home. The Solutions Sales Engineer will identify customer needs, propose suitable indoor air quality solutions, and prepare technical and commercial proposals that align with AAQ’s product portfolio. This role involves conducting site visits, system assessments, and product demonstrations, as well as supporting customers and partners throughout the sales cycle. The individual will collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to ensure accurate system design, timely delivery, and successful implementation. Daily tasks include managing a sales pipeline, responding to technical inquiries, preparing reports and forecasts, and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering skills with the ability to translate technical IAQ solutions into clear value propositions.
  • Hands-on experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, system configuration guidance, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Proven Sales experience in technical or industrial products, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Background in mechanical, environmental, or related engineering is preferred; diploma or degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, filtration, or air treatment systems is beneficial.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, managing time effectively between on-site visits, office, and remote work.
  • Proficiency in basic office productivity tools (e.g., CRM, spreadsheets, presentation software) and a willingness to learn new systems.
