An Account Administrator is in charge of basic bookkeeping entries and administrative work. He is responsible for accounting activities and provides support to employees in the office to ensure the office operations work efficiently.
Bookkeepers record and assemble the day-to-day financial transactions of an organisation or company, consisting usually of sales, purchases, payments and receipts. They ensure all financial transactions are documented in the appropriate (day) book and general ledger, and that they are balanced out. Bookkeepers prepare the recorded books and ledgers with financial transactions for an accountant to then analyse balance sheets and income statements.
This position is to be filled internally for our company Terra Asia Global Business Support Services Sdn Bhd and the office location is central in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, almost 10 mins walk from KLCC.
NOTE- We are urgently hiring for this position, candidates with a notice of period of immediately available to one (1) month will be preferred. 2 months will also be considered but NOT 3 months’ notice period.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing water and maintenance bill.
• Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Preparing maintenance and rental monthly report
• Assist in the preparation of yearly insurance and statement.
• Assist in the preparation for AGM.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Possess at least a Diploma in accounting, finance or relevant field.
• Knowledge in UBS/ Auto Count Accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail.
• Proficient in computer literate and MS Office.
