Lathe Machine Set up, Measuring and knowledge of using overhead crane

1. Producing harden parts on Furnace machines. 2. Studying and interpreting drawings, specifications to determine hardness of finished parts, sequence of operations and set-up requirements. 3. Communicating with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality control and other shop personnel for assignments and resolution of quality issues. 4. Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly. 5. Performing basic preventive maintenance on equipment. 6. Maintaining Harden production records.

- Review blueprints and specification of products - Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics - Machine parts to specifications using CNC Machine such as turning, milling - Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools - Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts - Measure and examine completed products using micrometer, Vernier, calipers - Perform maintenance on the machines and replace dull or aged parts as necessary - Supervise machine temperatures, ensure that machine has adequate warm-up and cool-down time between jobs and replace coolant periodically
