The Quality Assurance Manager leads the plant’s integrated Quality Control, Food Safety and Process Engineering function across all four manufacturing categories — powder beverages (3-in-1 coffee mix, malt milk, tea mix). The role carries single-point accountability for both halves of the quality equation: the engineering standards that define what “in control” means, and the testing, inspection and release discipline that proves the process is meeting them.
The Process Engineer reports into this role. Technical standards — critical process parameters, critical quality attributes, analytical methods, validation protocols and the HACCP technical file — are developed and validated by the Process Engineer and formally approved by the Quality Assurance Manager, who then owns their enforcement on the factory floor and in the QC laboratory. Consolidating standard-setting and standard-enforcement under one accountable leader requires the postholder to be technically credible enough to challenge, direct and approve engineering work — not merely to receive it.
