Responsibilities: • Provide technical support: Respond to and resolve technical inquiries from internal teams and external clients in a timely and professional manner. Addressing concerns related to our products, services, or systems. • Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and failures in our products and systems. Develop effective solutions and ensure their successful implementation to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance. • Engineering projects support: Collaborate with the engineering team in the design, development, and testing phases of projects. Contribute technical expertise to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and procedures to aid in support and future reference. • Quality assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products and systems meet safety and quality standards. Identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative solutions. • Training and knowledge sharing: Provide technical training and support to team members and end-users to enhance their understanding and usage of our products and systems. • Research and development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Propose and explore new ideas to enhance our products and services. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Proven work experience as a Technical Engineer or in a similar technical support role. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions. • Proficient in using engineering software and tools relevant to the position. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to evolving technologies.

Job Description The WAN Engineer position is the technical interface between IT departments, the business partners and all other company departments. This candidate is expected to have complete product knowledge, technical ability, and an in-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Cisco Meraki and Cisco Switches for design and troubleshooting. Responsibilities 1. Maintains and supports a large WAN environment of over 1000 locations within Malaysia and abroad. 2. Supports day-to-day operations that include routing, switching and hardware replacement. 3. Works closely with the Network Operations Centre to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. 4. Performs day-to-day network administration tasks including network equipment installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting. 5. Provides WAN support for initiatives that revolve around our optical backbone. 6. Maintains and supports network technologies that sustain data centre and branches operations. 7. Troubleshoots network performance issues and recommending appropriate solutions. 8. Provides periodic network traffic and security status reporting. 9. Contributes to root cause analysis reports for network outages. 10. Prepares network diagrams, floor plans, and schematics using Visio where required. 11. Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors before and during project execution stage. 5. Review equipment shop drawings submitted by vendors. 6. Prepare handover list to Project Team for project execution. 7. Attend equipment Site Acceptance Test (SAT) & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). 8. Provide technical support and maintenance for events or unscheduled work to ensure all services are executed in a safe, appropriate and timely manner. 9. Assist in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of Solar Panel. 10. Assist in project implementation of electrical installation work. 11. Mediate between off-site and on-site engineering works for fluidity of project executions 12. Any other ad-hoc project to be assigned. ADDITIONAL NOTES (IF ANY) 1.
