The Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition. He/She supports the team by performing maintenance on equipment and systems in accordance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He follows corporate guidelines and best practices, ensuring work activities are carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations. He follows emergency response plans and adheres to workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.

He usually works under supervision. He is a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders. He is also expected to work on-site, on a rotating or day-shift, and/or may be employed on–call basis.
