Job Description

Requirements

  1. Possess a Bachelor’s Diploma & degree.

  2. Able to present facts and ideas; fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

  3. Have 2 – 3 years of experience in business development/sales/marketing, preferably in fields like flexible packaging, glove industries and construction (building materials).

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  5. Have good interpersonal skills and communicate well.

  6. Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, and demonstrated capability to meet new challenges.

  7. Good problem-solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions.

  8. Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspective and offering intuitive solutions and ideas.

  9. Have skills in management, reporting, and data analysis for decision-making.

  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop new prospective clients to create new opportunities for business expansion.

  2. Maintain good rapport with clients by providing high support and services, product information and market trends for a long-term business partnership.

  3. Build and maintain good product knowledge.

  4. Attend sales enquiries and orders, prepare quotations, and attend customer complaints and related meetings.

  5. Conduct regular customer engagement to understand business needs, propose effective solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

  6. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable market insights that drive and support business growth strategies.

  7. Manage supplier relationships by conducting business reviews and identifying market opportunities to strengthen collaboration and drive growth.

  8. To follow up / monitor order progress to achieve monthly/ annual sales targets.

  9. To follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
