Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, nursing care homes, and other healthcare stakeholders, and promoting Xspec Hospitech’s nurse call and fall management solutions. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, managing the sales pipeline, preparing and delivering presentations and proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, participating in events or demonstrations, and providing feedback to management on product and market development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within healthcare technology or medical devices.
• Strong skills in relationship building, client communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop strategic plans to grow the customer base.
• Competence in preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Comfort using CRM tools and standard office software to manage pipelines, reporting, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of hospital operations, nursing care environments, or healthcare workflows is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally to visit clients and attend industry events as needed.
