Orientation (0,5 month): You will receive orientation to the company and local community and includes learning about our company’s customers, culture, business strategies, etc.; learn about payroll schedules and payroll tax withholding; local training area, housing options, apartment complexes and transportation options; meet key contacts and other employees; receive computer training on company systems; receive orientation to local community including cultural centers, volunteer opportunities, local sporting events, and entertainment venues. Orientation is scheduled to take up to one month and takes places concurrently with the first phase of training.
Host/Greeter (3 months): You will learn responsibilities of the restaurant host as they will gain a deep understanding of the restaurant business levels, managing the flow the restaurant guests. The participant will have to learn how and where to seat guests, in accordance with business flow, to set the serving team up for success. Additional skills that will be learnt include phone etiquette and managing the restaurant reservation system.
Reservations Coordinator (3,5 months): You will learn the reservations system and learn to manage the reservation system; learn history of guests, accepting reservations and entering information collected by third parties; learn to maintain a computer and a hard copy log of reservations, and to print/e-mail daily menu change, resolve guest complaints; confirmations for reservations; learn to coordinate special requests for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, etc; learn to oversee a series of checks and balances to ensure the accuracy of all reservations and quality of communication.

Garde Manger (2,5 months): You will learn to prepare and coordinate the production of cold food items in order to maintain high standards of quality; learn American contemporary styles of presenting food and preparation of buffets; learn to prepare all cold food items for buffet, banquet and restaurant use according to standard recipes, visually inspect appearance of all cold food for proper color combination and overall presentation to maintain appeal; prepare requisitions for supplies and food items for production in work stations; check and control proper storage of all food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness.
Saucier (3 months): You will learn process for preparing four essential parts of stock, demonstrate three methods for preparing stocks; identify the two basic kinds of soups and prepare using the basic ingredients for broth, consommé, puree, clear, and cream soups; learn grand sauces and prepare several kinds of sauces; cooking and cooling techniques for beef and chicken stock, de-grease stocks and finish product; learn planning and preparing clear, cream, puree, chowder, and cold soups; participate in soup and sauce cookery; preparation of all basic stocks, types of soups and sauces; learn use of thickening agents, sweet sauces and their uses.

Front Desk Agent (4 months): You will learn front desk computer system; check-in and check-out procedures; promote Preferred Guest Program; cashier responsibilities; maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily; group arrivals procedures, guest room assignment and control; walk over procedures; hourly house counts; sell-out controls; room key controls; room up selling techniques; resolve guest concerns. Housekeeping Supervisor (3 months): You will learn to inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with all standards; assist in scheduling room, turndown, mini-bar and linen attendants; provide training, coaching and counseling for better performance; learn to supervise performance of all team members; produce schedules for employees in accordance with staffing guides/ productivity requirements; review and adjust staffing daily to ensure optimum staffing levels; review assignments of employees and make adjustments; manage administrative functions in accordance with established standards; evaluate, coach, counsel and provide leadership support.
