The Head of the wholesale department is responsible with supervising the diverse operations within the division.This role entails the achievement of the annual sales budget, devising sales strategies, identifying, and developing products, establishing pricing and risk management policies. Identifies, qualifies and solicits new group catering opportunities to achieve personal and team goals. Maximizes Revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage. Understands the overall market-competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand and knows how to sell against them. Serves as point of contact for customers, hotel and sales organization. Ensure pricing/selling strategies are followed. Is fully aware of overall resorts strategies and goals. Works efficiently and collaboratively with GSAs to maximize impact on customers and revenue growth. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees. Maintain a professional business confidentiality. Additional requirements: Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new accounts. Actively grows share and monitor competition. Conduct sites, fam trips and sales calls as outlined by GDOSM and DOS. Submit sales report on weekly basis which incorporates the respective markets performance to DOS on every Friday of the week. Brief report on Market overview, Sales activities, sales strategies and Action plan. Prepares reports and action plans by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information as outlined by GDOSM/ DOS. Preparing sales budgets and projections to drive sales goals. Planning reports and making advance appointments plan to find sales opportunities.

Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS regulatory reports and make adjustments, where required. Work with Head Office teams and system vendor to maintain an automated solution for MAS Regulatory Reporting.

Assist with monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch (e.g. Asset Maintenance Ratio, MLA & MCB) and preparation the daily regulatory reports.

Assist with preparation of journal entries and detailed subaccount ledgers. Ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements including performing checks on invoices and receipts for payments. ...
