Roles and Responsibilities
I. Financial Management:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement to the management.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost control, and financial risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
II. Accounting Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual financial audit.
III. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial results and key performance indicators.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks based on financial analysis.
- Present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
IV. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads and senior management.
- Prepare and analyze budget vs. actual performance reports.
- Monitor and control expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to departments in managing their budgets.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance or equivalent e.g. ACCA, LCCI.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- At least more than 1 year- 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Familiar with Master Account Software and set of accounting
- Possess exceptional communication skills that are especially important in enabling effective communication between internal and external partners.
