Job Description

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

I. Financial Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement to the management.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost control, and financial risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

II. Accounting Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the annual financial audit.

III. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial results and key performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks based on financial analysis.
  • Present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.

IV. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads and senior management.
  • Prepare and analyze budget vs. actual performance reports.
  • Monitor and control expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to departments in managing their budgets.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance or equivalent e.g. ACCA, LCCI.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • At least more than 1 year- 2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Master Account Software and set of accounting
  • Possess exceptional communication skills that are especially important in enabling effective communication between internal and external partners.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Fresh graduate

Pay: From RM2,600.00 per month
