About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operator to join YB Woodwork Industry (M) Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Simpang Renggam, Johor. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining warehouse standards to support our manufacturing and distribution operations. This position is essential to our logistics network and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time.

Key responsibilities

1. Receive, unload and inspect incoming shipments and materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards

2. Organise and store products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems and equipment

3. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing and labelling products according to customer specifications

4. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements and warehouse transactions

5. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as required

6. Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile physical inventory with system records

7. Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations

8. Assist in identifying and reporting damaged or defective goods

9. Collaborate with team members to meet warehouse targets and deadlines

10. Support the implementation of warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment

2. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts if certified

3. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

4. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation

5. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly

6. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

7. Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems is preferred

8. A valid driving licence is advantageous

9. Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards in the workplace

10. Ability to work shifts if required by operational needs
