Responsibilities: Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine the appropriate repair or maintenance procedures. Repair and service vehicles efficiently and effectively, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other automotive components. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and specifications. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve complex vehicle problems. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide support when necessary. Keep up-to-date records of all service and repair activities, including detailed notes, parts used, and labor time. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair options, providing estimates, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures. Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools necessary for automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine performance, and computerized diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex automotive issues. Ability to work efficiently and independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. GDL license is optional. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.
