The Engineer – Product is required to sustain Engineering activities such as review and design of HVAC equipments, in meeting the application standards, customer requirements, and sound engineering principle, including ETO based products. Principal Responsibilities:
• Responsible to review chiller product application on enquiries, in complying with applicable standards, customer requirements and sound engineering principles, and deem necessary, re-engineer the existing design to suit ETO application.
• Responsible to review factory order in complying with applicable standards, customer requirements and sound engineering principles. Including those of ETO (Engineered to Order) based.
• To efficiently communicate with other division such as Electrical & Control, Pressure Vessel, and other Departments to ensure smooth flow of fabrication work, if the product is to be built in DBM.
• To efficiently support DBUS team to ensure smooth progress of design, application and production of products.
• To assist in resolving production technical issue encountered on products.
• Oversee continuous improvement of existing products.
• Promote product quality, safety and performance.
• Responsible for the preparation of document required for the projects including 3D modelling Drawings, Purchased Part Specifications, Engineering Procedures, Bills of Material, Catalogues, Installation Manuals and other documents required for the design, and manufacturing process of the products
Develop detailed mechanical design in collaboration with industrial designers, for office furniture, namely seating and desking systems of plastic and metal construction.
Improve product quality by identifying causes of quality issues, and propose short term and long term solutions.

Proficient in scripting languages and security testing using relevant tools.
Fast learner and comfortable with exploring untested technologies and embracing the uncharted territory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively within diverse teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Professional Certifications in IT Security such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or equivalent will be an advantage.
