Support the Managing Director by collaborating with corporate and regional QSHE to communicate and ensure Company SHE strategy, guidelines and processes are understood and implemented on all sites and providing sound SHE management advice.
Design, develop and execute long and short-term plans for implementation.
Ensure that Company SHE strategy is followed and that it is well communicated and understood by all employees.
Report any SHE non-conformance, non-compliance and incidents to local Managing Director and APAC QSHE Director.
Manage SHE related non-conformance, non-compliance, and incidents in collaboration with Corporate QSHE Team.
Lead, develop and prioritize SHE programs or related projects from conceptualization to implementation to disposal stages. This includes closing any gaps, implementing the improvement, and identifying resources (time, people, costs) for executions.
Lead a team to prepare and coordinate different types of audits for the certificate accreditations and internal audits/assessments.
Manage the SHE competency within the sites and make competency building plans.
Carry out SHE training and regular communication sessions such as briefing, updates, changes to all stakeholders.
Manage contractor safety performance to achieve zero harm on sites.
Actively engage customers and internal corporate staff by taking the lead to coordinate related SHE matters in visits and meetings.
Liaison personnel for external interfaces e.g. with government agencies, to ensure licenses, permits, certificates and statutory examinations are maintained and renewed in timely manner. E.g. Emergency Response Plan, Transport, Emergency Response Plan, Hazardous Chemicals, Pressurized vessels, etc.
License/Permit/Certificate holder responsible for stipulated duties accordingly e.g. Fire Safety Manager, Hazardous Substances Permit Holder, Workplace Safety and Health officer, etc.
Organize, manage and coordinate table-top exercises, drills, exercises for emergency preparedness and response and business continuity plans.

Capable of conducting root cause analysis incident investigation with ALARP recommendations in a formal written report.
Responsible for maintaining the SHE Legal Register for all sites.
Assertive in compliance matters and responsive to emergency matters.
Requirements:
Minimum a Bachelor degree in Workplace Safety and Health Management / Engineering related.
Minimum 10 years/ and above of SHE working experience.
Experience in chemical management, with knowledge and exposure in Process Safety
Able to engage with various stakeholders
Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards and Responsible Care codes.
Familiar with and support site Safe Management Measures (SMM) to implement safe management measures at all sites.
Familiar with the requirements of bizSAFE level 5 standards and conduct risk assessment and maintain the risk management including Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for the sites.
Familiar with and implement relevant international and Singapore standards, codes and best practices e.g. API, ASME, IEC, GHS, IMDG, NFPA for all sites.
Experience in Singapore Safety Case regime.
Experience in process safety management or safety case.
