Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience:1 to 3 years of experience in site operations, engineering design, or estimating within the construction/M&E industry.Fresh graduates with exceptional presentation and communication skills are highly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skillsets:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word (knowledge of basic graphic layout/formatting is a huge plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints; basic proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is highly advantageous to facilitate smooth communication with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Traits: Confident, professional demeanor, high attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency to meet strict tender deadlines.

• High-Impact Pitch Decks & Proposals: Design, structure, and draft technical presentation slides (MS PowerPoint) and proposal documents for tender interviews and client meetings.
• Client Engagement & Site Walks: Accompany Senior Management/BD Managers to pre-tender site briefings and interviews; act as the technical scribe to capture client expectations.
• Inter-Departmental Coordination: Liaison between internal Engineering Design, Site Operations, and Quantity Surveying (QS) teams to ensure proposed technical solutions align with the priced Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Value Engineering (VE) Support: Assist the estimation team in researching alternative, cost-effective engineering materials or equipment brands while maintaining local regulatory compliance (e.g., UBBL, BOMBA, ST).
