Lecturer (Early Childhood Education)
Job Responsibilities:
•To be responsible for the effective planning, delivery of various early childhood education subjects and academic development of the students as well as to provide pastoral care to students.
•To develop and manage learning modules and to ensure that academic programme are delivered in accordance with the prescribed quality standards.
•To assess and evaluate students’ performance to ensure that learning objectives have been achieved through summative and formative assessment.
•To participate in extra curricular activities or other functions as and when required.
Job Requirements:
•Possessing a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and preferably with a Master’s Degree.
•Have at least 1 to 2 year(s) tertiary Education teaching experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
•Candidates with relevant job experience will have an added advantage.
•Possess good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Successful candidate will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate units of study in the School of Design and Arts in academic disciplines of education, specialising in early childhood education. Specialisations in TESOL, Educational Leadership and Management, Educational Psychology and/or Education Technology may be considered.
The successful candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in early childhood pedagogy and research. Furthermore, the ability to teach a broad spectrum of education-related subjects, including developmental psychology, curriculum design, special education, educational technologies, and pedagogical theories will be highly regarded. The appointed Senior Lecturer will lead by example, providing exceptional teaching and guidance in both established and innovative research methods as well as foster external engagement for the Early Childhood Education program and the university.
