Requirements
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in freight forwarding or logistics / supply chain industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documents.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact confidently via phone and online platforms.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Language: Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Handle and respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage requests from exporters, importers, and overseas agents.
- Coordinate with vendors such as shipping lines, haulage providers, forwarding departments, and co-loaders to fulfil customer job requests.
- Resolve issues related to space constraints and equipment shortages.
- Source rates from different vendors and recommend the best options.
- Complete job arrangements, including booking, forwarding, haulage arrangements, and SI/BL confirmation.
- Update costs and quotations in the system after verification with Sales, for accounting and invoicing purposes.
- Act as a dedicated point of contact and support the Sales PIC to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
